Refund policy
HANDHELDS & CONSOLE RETURNS:
Returns and refunds from Retro-Back are allowed, but under strict conditions. If the customer has “Buyer’s Remorse” or would like to return the device they had purchased not due to a warranty claim, the buyer must contact us at CustomerService@retro-back.com and request a Return and Refund form (Not the same as a Warranty Claim Form) and return the ORIGINAL DEVICE plus included items from purchase and must include the form filled out completely and send the product to the address that is listed on the form, buyer must pay for shipping and a tracking number is required to be given to Retro-Back from the postal carrier of customer’s choosing, failure to provide a tracking number will result in an added 5% fee being deducted from original purchase amount. If the device is lost in shipping or transit, coming back to Retro-Back, we are not responsible for this circumstance, and the refund processing will be put on hold if the item is lost in shipping, buyer must contact their postal carrier of their choosing to open an investigation for the lost parcel. Insurance can be added to the parcel but is not required by Retro-Back; this is up to the buyer’s discretion. Retro-Back will not pay for any insurance. If the customer/buyer resides outside of the United States of America, they must pay for any Customs Duties or Tax that is owed on the shipment sent by the buyer, usually this amount can range from 2% - 5% and maybe required depending on contents according to US Customs. Retro-Back will notify the buyer with the form furnished by US Customs or the delivery agency responsible for delivery, of the amount owed and the buyer is expected to pay for fees if applicable. In order for the device to be eligible for a refund, the device must be in the original condition as it was first purchased by the customer, if device is missing components, is not in the condition it was sold in or is not the device sold, the buyer’s request for a refund will be denied and buyer WILL be responsible for the return shipping back to them, if item’s shipping cost is not paid for within 14 DAYS, the product will be considered abandoned property and will be the property of Retro-Back. An extension period of payment due to an emergency may be given if notified right away by email, the email will have the number of approved days that payment is extended to. Once the device is in our possession and verified the condition of the device, we will begin to process the customer's refund. There will be a 10% restocking fee being deducted from the original purchase amount on all refunds UNLESS at the discretion of Retro-Back. Original shipping costs are nonrefundable no matter of the circumstance. Once the restocking fee (if applicable, 5% due to tracking fee not provided is included with this as well, which would be 15% instead of 10%) is deducted from the original purchase amount, Retro-Back will refund the remaining purchase amount back to the buyer. If a buyer forces a refund from PayPal, eBay (if listing was originated from them), or opens a dispute/claim with their bank or any payment service they use, Retro-Back will open an investigation and will furnish evidence of documentation and device pictures to any of these financial institutions. Buyers will permanently no longer be allowed to purchase from Retro-Back if they previously attempted to force a refund from any financial institution. Buyer information including first & last name, address and phone # will be recorded on a black list and if the buyer is not allowed to purchase from us and still buys a product we are selling in the future, we will automatically refund the whole amount back to the buyer and provide a note in description of payment as to why purchase was refunded. Please understand that any sort of fraud will not be tolerated and will be reported to proper authorities. When the buyer purchases a device from us at Retro-Back, they agree to our documentation conditions and our Return and Refund Policy conditions. Please read all terms and conditions.
